The Best Take on "Failure" You'll Hear Today
Hello Stars, I find myself extremely immersed in watching and following sports these days. I believe this is true with many folks these days, I am not sure what has changed, but we will explore that on an email very soon. What this means right now is that my YouTube feed is sport-related. Not complaining one bit though!
While going through my newsfeed, this video cropped up again and it felt like the kind of message I’d want to spread. This is a video of Giannis, after a tough playoff loss, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was asked if he thought the season was a failure. And let me tell you, his response was pure gold:
"It’s not a failure, it’s steps to success. Michael Jordan played 15 years, won six championships. The other nine years was a failure? That’s what you’re telling me? It’s the wrong question. There’s no failure in sports. There are good days, bad days, some days you succeed, some days you don’t. Some days it’s your turn, some days it’s not your turn. That’s what sport is about. You don’t always win."
(Here’s the full clip – trust me, it’s worth watching! 🎥 )
Giannis really nails it: Every setback is just another step toward success. It’s all part of the bigger picture, whether you’re aiming for the next level in business, sports, or life. Take the lessons, adapt, and keep moving forward!
Next time things don’t go as planned, think: "Am I failing, or am I learning?" You’re probably a lot closer to the win than you think! 💪
Keep crushing it,
